Get involved in something good!

Sat 16 Sep 2023 10am - 12pm

Free BBQ Afterwards

Quinninup Weed Action Group

The QWAG is reactivating its attack on the weeds growing in and around our community. The main weeds focused on are tea-tree, broom bush, scotch thistle, black wattle and other declared pest plants.

Every couple of months the group meets ussing provided equipment (and a lot of enthusiasm) to clear out some of these weeds from around the town to stop them from spreading into our beautiful natural bushland. It usually takes a couple of hours of volunteering, followed by a BBQ lunch afterwards as reward for the hard work done.

If you would like to know more, or put forward your name for the next working bee on Sat 16 Sep 2023 10am - 12pm, please contact us.
